HOW IT WORKS
Our simulated slopes are essentially like a giant treadmill with high-quality synthetic ski grass, they can go up to speeds of 21kms per hour and a gradient similar to a black run. The machines utilise a state-of-the-art technology that allows the speed and gradient to be adjusted to suit the individual’s skill level and ability making the slopes perfect for all ages and abilities.
Just like the first session at a new gym, you will need some time to familiarise yourself with the simulated surface and our instructors are always on hand to ensure maximum learning efficiency. If you have previous ski or snowboarding experience you’ll find that the biomechanics of the sport are the same but the surface tension and forgiveness of the slope are more like a very thinly groomed slope rather than a powder day. That’s why we focus on the foundations and why this simulation environment translates exceptionally well to the outdoor terrains.
